Makes 1 loaf tin, 8 squares

I like to think that brownies and me are best friends. I can’t get over how incredible this version is made using Chocolate Bone broth protein powder is - not only is it good for your gut but it tastes absolutely divine in these brownies! Feel free to double the recipe to make a full batch.

Ingredients

1 egg room temperature

1/4 C coconut sugar

1/4 C smooth nut butter

1/2 C milk of choice

1/4 C chocolate bone broth protein (I have not tested any subs, though I imagine you could add a similar amount of almond flour or protein powder of choice, just make sure the batter doesn’t become too thick)

1/4 C cocoa powder

1/3 C almond flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

pinch of Salt

Beat the egg and the sugar in a medium bowl, until it makes a light caramel colour. Add in the milk and nut butter, combine till smooth. In a separate bowl add your dry ingredients, then mix all together and let sit for a minute so the flour can hydrate. Pour into a lined loaf tin, top with chocolate chips and bake at 175 C for 20 minutes until the edges are set - depending on how you like your brownies - adapt the cooking time! Let cool before slicing! I like to melt a little bit of chocolate on top. Store airtight in the fridge or freezer.
